This penetrometer rotates the handle manually, drives two pressurized chains to rotate circularly through the speed change of the sprocket and gear, presses the “mountain” shaped plate and the block by the lengthened chain piece pin, and presses the probe into the soil at a penetration rate of 0.8m~1.0m/min. The lifting speed is changed by changing the position of the handle. This machine is equipped with an electric Cross palte probe, which can conduct static penetration test and Cross plate shear test respectively.
