STJMY-1 Multi Function Interface Direct Shear Apparatus

This instrument is used to determine the frictional characteristics along the interface between soil and geosynthetic materials.

描述

Structure:
1. Shear Box: Composed of an upper box and a lower box, the inner wall plane dimensions of the box are 300mm * 300mm. The height of the upper and lower boxes is 75mm.
2. Loading System: Includes vertical and horizontal loading systems.
3. The vertical load of this instrument is applied by a lever.
4. The horizontal load is driven by a single-chip motor and controlled by a single-chip microcomputer. It is easy to operate and has high rate accuracy.
5. Force Measurement System: Uses tensile and compressive force sensors with digital display.
6. Displacement Measurement System: Uses a digital dial indicator.

Basic Parameters:
Maximum horizontal shear force: 30 kN
Internal wall planar dimensions of the container: 300 mm * 300 mm
Height of the upper and lower boxes of the container: 50 mm
Vertical loading pressure: 50 kPa, 100 kPa, 200 kPa, 400 kPa
Horizontal shear rate: 0.01 – 5.00 mm/min
Horizontal shear displacement: 0 – 30 mm
Rated voltage: AC 220V 50 Hz

Usage Instructions:
1. Sample
(1) Sample size: The width of the sample to be cut and the actual length depend on the size of the cutting box (300*300) and the fixation method. There must be sufficient length to ensure the fixation of the sample. For woven geotextiles, the width of the sample should be greater than the required size by 10mm, and then approximately the same amount of fibers should be removed from both sides to make the sample meet the specified requirements.
(2) Fill the lower box with soil with the required moisture content. Layer the soil and compact it to the specified density. After the soil surface consolidates, it should not be lower than the top surface of the box.
(3) Place the sample flat on the soil surface and fix one end of the sample to the side wall of the upper box.

2. Test Steps
(1) Align the cutting box with the device that applies vertical load, and install the vertical and horizontal displacement measurement devices (tachometers) successively. Apply a small vertical load to the sample to ensure good contact between the soil sample and the sample, and adjust the vertical displacement meter reading to zero.
(2) Apply the required vertical load. Wait for the soil sample to consolidate. The consolidation time depends on the soil properties and the drainage distance. For granular soil, the consolidation time should be no less than 15 minutes; for cohesive soil, measure the vertical deformation once every hour.
